What this dataset contains

Each record represents a single job posting harvested from public ATS endpoints such as Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable and SmartRecruiters. The data captures structured compensation ranges, seniority cues and technology-stack signals derived from the original posting text. Coverage spans US and EU tech employers and is refreshed on a monthly snapshot cadence.

Structure and fields

The single training split holds 449,028 rows delivered as parquet and accessible through the `S`, `M` and `L` configurations. Core columns include company_name, company_domain, company_industry, ats, job_id, title, department, location_raw, country, city, is_remote, employment_type, salary_min, salary_max, salary_currency, salary_period, salary_from_text, skills, posted_at, scraped_at and url. Numeric salary fields are stored as float64, while the skills column appears as a nested large_string feature.

How analysts use it

Hiring and compensation analysts can track trends in tech labor demand and pay by aggregating salary_min and salary_max across title, country and skills. Investors monitoring software, cloud or AI vendors may use posting volumes by company_name or company_domain as a proxy for organic growth, headcount expansion or product investment cycles. The is_remote and employment_type fields further support studies on flexible-work penetration and contractor usage across the sector.
