TalentNeuron

From AltData.wiki, The Alternative Data Encyclopedia

TalentNeuron is a labor-market intelligence and strategic workforce-planning provider. It supplies an online platform, application programming interfaces, recurring data feeds, and consulting for analyzing talent supply, employer demand, compensation, skills, locations, competitors, and possible workforce scenarios.[1] Its stated audience is primarily large organizations and human-resources strategy teams.

The company reports coverage of more than 200 markets, three billion professional profiles, over 26 million companies, more than 65,000 skills, and approximately three million job postings processed each day in 33 languages.[1] It also says that its data and insights represent economies accounting for more than 96 percent of global gross domestic product.[2] These figures are company claims and were not independently audited in the sources consulted.

What It Does

TalentNeuron combines external labor-market observations with a customer's internal workforce measures. Users can examine skill gaps, hiring difficulty, salary ranges, competitor recruitment, possible locations, talent availability, diversity estimates, and changes in the content of roles.[1][3] Scenario-planning tools are intended to translate those observations into decisions about whether an organization should build skills internally, hire workers, use contingent labor, or automate tasks.

Data and Methodology

TalentNeuron states that it analyzes more than seven million distinct job-posting data points per day from over 40,000 sources, including job boards, government reports, candidate profiles, and proprietary databases.[2] It says that algorithms and artificial-intelligence models normalize these inputs and generate more than 50 million predictions daily.[1] The public pages do not identify every source, define each prediction, publish model error rates, or explain how overlapping job advertisements and profiles are deduplicated.

The data products distinguish demand measures derived from vacancies from supply estimates derived from profiles and other records. Available indicators include posting duration, skills, credentials, education, experience, remote-work status, salaries, graduate supply, employer concentration, and diversity estimates.[3] Because these measures originate partly from online behavior, they may not capture informal hiring, people without public profiles, or markets where digital recruitment is less prevalent.

Products and Delivery

The platform includes hiring, competitor, skills, location, employee-value-proposition, organizational-design, internal-mobility, workforce-planning, and work-architecture functions, as well as a talent-intelligence assistant called Synapse.[1] Data as a Service exposes hiring, location, skills, competitor, and diversity measures through APIs and configurable export files. TalentNeuron says recurring feeds can include up to four years of history and can be joined with internal measures such as time to fill, salary bands, and applications received.[3] Public list prices were not found.

Buyers and Use Cases

Use cases include selecting locations for new operations, comparing internal compensation with local market ranges, finding adjacent skills for reskilling, measuring which employers compete for the same workers, reviewing job descriptions, and forecasting talent requirements under alternative business scenarios.[1][3] The company claims that 60 percent of the Fortune 100 use its services and displays customer statements and logos on its site; this proportion was not independently confirmed in the reviewed material.[1]

History and Public Record

TalentNeuron's own chronology begins with Wanted Analytics in Quebec City in 1999 and a separate Talent Neuron operation in Bangalore in 2011. It says CEB acquired Talent Neuron in 2014 and Wanted Analytics in 2015, combined them, and that the business became Gartner TalentNeuron after Gartner acquired CEB in 2017. The same account states that Leeds Equity Partners purchased TalentNeuron from Gartner in 2023 and that TalentNeuron acquired German software company HRForecast in 2024.[2]

The current site lists a New York mailing address and says the business operates in nearly 50 countries.[1][2] Internet Archive's availability service independently confirms that the TalentNeuron domain has an archived public capture.[4] That archive metadata establishes web presence only; it does not independently substantiate the corporate timeline, ownership transactions, customer percentage, or data-volume claims.
